A new round of signing the Code of Ethics took place in Tomsk

On October 24, Tomsk, one of the oldest scientific and innovation centers in Siberia, met the new participants of the Code of artificial intelligence ethics. As part of the international congress “Language, culture and technological transits: new facets of humanity,” a solemn ceremony of signing the Code took place at the Tomsk State University. The event was attended by Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region for Economics Andrei Antonov, Rector of Tomsk State University Eduard Galazhinsky and Chairman of the Commission for the Implementation of the Code of Ethics in the Field of AI Andrei Neznamov.

The new participants in the Code included the following organizations: Tomsk State University, Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian State Medical University, Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Tomsk Scientific Center SB RAS, Tomsk Polytechnic University, LLC Syncretis”, LLC “NTR Tomsk”, LLC “SSP-SOFT”.

The Code of Ethics has been developed and is being improved on the platform of the Alliance in the field of artificial intelligence. At this moment, over 100 organizations have joined the Code.

AI Alliance unites leading technological companies for joint development of their competences and accelerated implementation of AI in education, scientific research and practical business activities. The Alliance companies are Sber, Gazprom Neft, Yandex, VK, MTS and RDIF. The mission of the association is about to be the center of AI development in Russia and to provide technological leadership for our country and the Alliance companies in the global technology market.
