At the II Forum of IT Academy “Artificial Intelligence in Belarus”, four Belarusian organizations joined the Code of Ethics in the Field of AI

As part of the II Forum of IT Academy “Artificial Intelligence in Belarus,” four Belarusian organizations joined the Code of Ethics in the Field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), developed on the platform of the Alliance in the Field of Artificial Intelligence.

The Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, BELFIN LLC, the Institute of Information Technologies of the Belarusian State University of Informatics, Polesie State University became participants in a large-scale community of experts in the field of artificial intelligence, already consisting of more than 200 organizations.

The accession of participants from Belarus to the Code was an important step towards the formation of a unified approach to the ethics of artificial intelligence in the CIS. The interest of Belarusian partners in the Code once again confirmed the international nature of the document and the universality of the ethical principles for AI technologies contained in it.

The Code was developed and is being improved at the AI Alliance, together with representatives of the academic community and with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Analytical Center for the Government. Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, MTS, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions.

AI Alliance unites leading technological companies for joint development of their competences and accelerated implementation of AI in education, scientific research and practical business activities. The Alliance companies are Sber, Gazprom Neft, Yandex, VK, MTS and RDIF. The mission of the association is to be the center of AI development in Russia and to provide technological leadership for our country and the Alliance companies in the global technology market.
