As part of the second Global Digital Forum, held on October 8–10, a ceremony was held to welcome new international signatories to the Code of Ethics in the Field of Artificial Intelligence, developed by the AI Alliance.
The initiative was joined by representatives from 12 countries: Bangladesh, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Kuwait, Palestine, India, and Serbia. The new signatories include technology companies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and independent experts.

“When we launched this initiative in 2020, we couldn’t have imagined that one day we would welcome partners from so many parts of the world, advancing AI ethics alongside organizations from over 40 countries. I truly look forward to our cooperation and believe that together we can ensure responsible AI brings real value to the Global South and the wider global community,” noted Andrey Neznamov, Chairman of the Commission on the Implementation of the Code of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence and Managing Director of the Human-Centered AI Center at Sberbank.
