Six Belarusian organizations joined the Code of Ethics in the field of AI at the III Forum of IT-Academgrad «Artificial Intelligence in Belarus»

Six Belarusian organizations joined the Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence within the framework of the III IT-Academgrad Forum «Artificial Intelligence in Belarus». The signing ceremony was held at the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

 

The Memorandum of Accession to the Code of Ethics in the field of Artificial Intelligence was signed by the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Institute of Applied Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State Technological University, the Euphrosyne Polotsk State University, the Interindustry Scientific and Practical Center for Identification Systems and Electronic Business Operations, and Intellectual Systems CJSC.

 

The interest of Belarusian partners in the Code once again demonstrated its international significance and the universal nature of the ethical principles enshrined in it.

 

The Russian Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence was developed on the platform of the Alliance in the field of AI together with representatives of the academic community with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

 

Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions. The Code in the field of artificial intelligence has already been joined by 42 foreign participants from 24 countries. In total, there are over 800 signatories to the Code.
