New participants join AI Code of Ethics at AI Ethics Forum

Sixteen new participants, including eight foreign companies, have signed the Code of Ethics for Artificial Intelligence (AI). The signing ceremony took place during the fourth international AI Ethics Forum.

The signatories of the Code included eight Russian organizations — Vostok Investments Investment Holding, T-Bank, RUDN, ANO Project Office of IT Campus of Nizhny Novgorod Region NEIMARK, ANO Research Institute Digital Intellect, Concern Telematics, RTA Technologies, Dokonkoll, as well as eight foreign participants — AFRIA association, as well as organizations from Malaysia, India, Argentina and Serbia.

The Russian Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence was developed by the AI Alliance together with representatives of the academic community with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions. The Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence has already been joined by 27 foreign participants from 20 countries. In total, there are over 800 signatories to the Code.
