New participants join AI Code of Ethics at RIF 2024

The national Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) was signed on Monday by eight new participants. The signing ceremony took place during the Russian Internet Forum (RIF 2024) taking place in Moscow.

The signatories include Russian companies and organizations such as Pravo.ru, Element, SibAgro Digital, Ozon, the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC), the National Federation of Music Industry, I Context and the UK-based V-office.

The National Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence was developed by the AI Alliance together with representatives of the academic community with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions. The Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence has already been joined by 27 foreign participants from 20 countries. In total, there are over 380 signatories to the Code.
