The National Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) has been signed by five new participants. The signing ceremony took place during the Fourteenth Russian Internet Governance Forum held in Moscow. The ceremony was attended by Tatyana Matveeva, Head of the Russian Presidential Department for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications Infrastructure.
Five Russian organizations — Digital Economy, Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR), Runiti (unites RU-CENTER, Reg.ru, SpaceWeb), SPLAT Global, Domklik — were among the signatories of the Code.
The National Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence was developed on the platform of the Alliance in the field of AI together with representatives of the academic community with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions. The Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence has already been joined by 27 foreign participants from 20 countries. The total number of signatories to the Code is over 330.
The Artificial Intelligence Alliance Association unites technology companies for the development of artificial intelligence. Among the participants of the association are Sber, Gazprom Neft, Yandex, VK, RDIF, SIBUR, Uralchem, Rusagro, Severstal, Airplane, etc.
