New entrants join the AI Code of Ethics at the Gravity 2024 Awards

The national Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) was signed on Friday by seven new participants. The signing ceremony took place during the Gravitation 2024 International University Prize in Moscow.

The signatories include Russian educational organizations: the Presidential Academy (RANEPA), St. Petersburg State University of Economics (SPbSEU), Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU), University Consortium of Big Data Researchers, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Finuniversity), MIREA — Russian Technological University (MIREA), as well as the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow City Health Department.

The National Code of Ethics in the field of artificial intelligence was developed on the platform of the Alliance in the field of AI together with representatives of the academic community with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Among the first to sign the document were Sber, Yandex, VK, Gazprom Neft and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, as well as other leading companies and institutions. The Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence has already been joined by 27 foreign participants from 20 countries. In total, there are over 380 signatories to the Code.
