AI Code of Ethics expands international recognition: 33 organizations from 22 countries join Russian initiative

As part of the Global Digital Forum 2025, 33 organizations from 22 countries officially joined the AI Code of Ethics developed by the AI Alliance.

The geography of the new participants covers countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America: Bangladesh, Burundi, Congo, Cuba, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Philippines, Portugal, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Uganda and the UK.

To date, more than 900 organizations, including over 80 foreign companies, have already signed the AI Code of Ethics. The document sets international standards for the responsible development of AI technologies, focusing on the principles of transparency, safety and protection of human rights.

The purpose of the Code is to lay the foundation for reliable, safe and responsible development of AI. The document serves as a practical guide for all stakeholders in the field, helping to ensure ethical decision-making at every stage — from AI development to deployment.

The voluntary accession of new international participants emphasizes the growing interest in ethical standards and transparency in AI, and strengthens the position of Russia and its partners in the global technology market.

Today’s signing marks an important step towards building a sustainable and human-centered future for artificial intelligence.

«The massive accession of new countries confirms the global demand for ethical standards in AI. The Russian initiative is becoming a unifying platform for shaping a sustainable digital future» — said Andrey Neznamov, Managing Director of Sberbank’s Center for Human-Centered AI, Secretary General of AI Alliance Network.

The Code remains open for new participants to join. The Russian side welcomes the international community’s interest in working together to create a safe and human-centered artificial intelligence ecosystem.
